One of the most effective ways of learning about the study of trans-etheric phenomena is to learn how to speak about them with others. Doing so requires an ordered understanding of the subject. There will be gaps in that ordered understanding which will clearly indicate areas that need to be better understood. This is a continuing process as understanding leads to new questions, which when answered, better orders understanding. All of this begins with terminology. All of this leads to an informed person in this field of study.

The community of people seeking to understand things phenomenal form a community when they have a common terminology and concepts. The terms presented here have been gathered from many different specialty areas of interest that seem to apply to the study of transcommunication. In many cases, the definition has been rephrased to better agree with current understanding. The list will also be frequently updated.

Please let us know if you think a term should be added, redefined, or this glossary improved in some way.
